Where I Have Been

What happened to Samantha for 2 years? Simply put, I have been snuggling, loving, watching, admiring, and (of course) photographing my little girl (and the boys too! ;)!  I am in love!

Her Brothers adore her too!

 

 

Then, she grew

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2 years crammed into one post.  It's been wonderful, and busy, and relaxing and a blessing. 

 

 

I do have a confession, I have been taking clients.  Just a few, just those that asked, just because I love them and couldn't say no.  So, I will be blogging those images over the next couple of months.  And announcing some great specials and model calls.  So, join me again, let me shoot you...with a camera...and let me watch your family grow. Because 2 years, has felt like just a blink. And because you'll always be grateful for the moments captured!

Meet Savannah Faith!

This beautiful baby girl is the reason for my absence.  And this little princess is already giving us a run for our money and showing us she's tough enough to keep up with her big brothers!  There have been some complications with the pregnancy and even though Savannah is healthy and strong, I have decided to go on extended hiatus.  I miss my clients and shooting desperately, but I feel the need to take as much off my plate as possible.  I will hopefully be returning the photography world in the fall.  Until then, keep smiling and keep in touch!

After a long winter's break, I got to dust off the camera with this little cutie!  I seriously could have kept him!

It was one of those days that I was reminded of how precious life is. Then little Mr. Aidan showed up with his big eyes and happy smile and just brightened my day!

Don't you just want to scoop him up and squeeze him!?!?

And his beautiful parents love him beyond words. What a blessed little boy!

And just look at those big beautiful eyes! They melt my heart!

Calvin (and Hobbes)! - Orange County Smash Cake Photographer

I love the comic strip Calvin and Hobbes! So when this wonderful family showed up ready to show off their Calvin and his Hobbes, I was so excited! Look how adorable!


And besides his buddy, he really enjoyed the bubbles!

He was hesitant about the cake at first but the frosting finally won him (and daddy) over!
